@573merf32 potassium is need for muscles to work properly, but having low potassium means that your heart can beat a little faster causing people to feel palpitations or flutters inside their hearts, it can also make people faint because their blood pressure becomes too low. Low potassium isn’t dangerous and there are medicines which people can take to bring their levels back to normal.
People can have an ECG which is a tracing of the electrical activity inside their hearts to help decide if they have an abnormal heart rhythm caused by low levels of potassium.
