I’ve not no, but one of my friends at university went to live in Aberdeen for a year, working for BP.
I also know that a lot of corrosion scientists (people who study the same thing as me) often go to work in the oil and gas industry, as pipeline and oilrig rusting is always something that they want to understand and prevent.

Is that where you guys are?

I have been to aberdeen but haven’t seen the oil there.
I almost got married near aberdeen actually but decided instead to have my wedding in Northern Ireland instead

I love Aberdeen, but I haven’t seen the oil platforms. The oil industry is one of the biggest employers of chemists like me (not just extracting oil, but also making things from the oil like plastic). I chose to study medicinal chemistry instead!
